These old double wedding ring blocks were started many years ago in a quilt group workshop.
I was thinking of not finishing it and putting the fabric back in my stash for some other project. But when I pulled it out of the bag I thought the old fabrics were too pretty to not to finish it.
So today I did some work on it...I decided to use this spot for the background.
I'm not sure how big I will make it, It probably will depend on how much background I have.

I am in a swap group organised by Maree, and the first swap of 2014 is a sew all/roll.
The only rule was to put the Gail Pan stitchery on the front.
We didn't know who it would be sent from until it arrived.
And I received this wonderful sew all from Carol...
I love it and made from French General fabrics.
...and some chocolate surprises!
..when it opens there are lots of places for stitching supplies.
And look at all the fun things Carol included...it is just wonderful!
My swap is in the mail...but I won't say who it is for...as it's a surprise when it arrives.
I hope she likes it...as much as I like mine...
I thought I would continue to use this blog to post swaps even though I started a new blog at timeoutstitching.com
I have been a bit away from blogging lately...I think my days are rather repetitious and
I don't seem to have a lot to say...though I should make a rule to blog at least once a week.
