I can see clearly again…I got new glasses…well new lenses in my glasses…
the stitches are clear!!!
This week I have been making some progress on Vignette…there is so much
embroidery on this quilt..
…the plan was to post a picture everyday!
…I seem to be catching up at the end of the week!

It’s so hot today…the choc I have as a treat after some surgery today is melting!!!
…a quilt friend gave me this little bundle of French General fabric at the
quilt group yesterday…love this fabric!!
…because of the surgery I’m taking it slow today!
…doing a little stitching on this!
I opened the heart swap today…my surprise was from Sharon at Lilabelle Lane
it was wrapped in pink…
and inside….
…this lovely embroidered heart and chocs!
…chocs to share with DH!!

When I bought a new pair of shoes…I was given
this candle…
I posted off the heart swap today…
I also received my surprise from Sharon…
I’m saving it to open on Valentines Day!
…also hexie flowers arrived from Kathie in the US!
..and this lovely quilt card!
…I have had a sore shoulder and arm since Friday!
So everything has been done at a slower pace…
it isn’t fun when it hurts to sit at the sewing machine…
slowly improving though!
The quilt group is planning to make log cabin quilts on the retreat this year…
This is going to be my version…made with 1” strips!
Most of the quilters are going to use foundation method but I prefer
to just add 1” strips and cut them to length as I go…
