new day…

I can see clearly again…I got new glasses…well new lenses in my glasses…

the stitches are clear!!!

This week I have been making some progress on Vignette…there is so much

embroidery on this quilt..

slow day…

It’s so hot today…the choc I have as a treat after some surgery today is melting!!!

heart swap…

I posted off the heart swap today…

…I have had a sore shoulder and arm since Friday!

So everything has been done at a slower pace…

it isn’t fun when it hurts to sit at the sewing machine…

slowly improving though!

log cabin…

The quilt group is planning to make log cabin quilts on the retreat this year…

This is going to be my version…made with 1” strips!

Most of the quilters are going to use foundation method but I prefer

to just add  1” strips and cut them to length as I go…
