This week has been the first cold days...

A little time for sewing...but would have liked to achieved more!

after a few cold, wet, dull, days the sun was shining!

So we had lunch by the river before DH physio appointment.

I enjoyed my BLT and milkshake.

...have been progressing slowly with some stitching!

...sometimes I wonder where the week went!!!

...this weekend, my house is full of the perfume of these!!

...this weekend has been the first cool weather.

So this morning I took my cup of tea back to bed

and finished reading The Beach House.

A simple book about finding peace in life!

happy mothers day...

Hope all had a happy Mothers Day...

My day was spent relaxing...with a walk to the Sunday market...

some gardening and or course some sewing

...and some eating!

New books with Mothers day the excuse to buy them...

They came from the Book Depository ...which I only just discovered.

Anita at Bloomin Workshop is giving a tutorial for this 

flying geese pattern...so I just had to try it!

I thought it would make a romantic quilt in the colours

of this fabric I bought last week ...just add some toile!

Then the latest Homespun magazine arrived...

...and I liked this!

So made a couple of blocks...thinking to make it 

in green, blue, red with maybe some gold.

It's fun to be inspired...
