This is where we went today...for DH to attend a medical appointment.

So we lingered for a while...had lunch and walked by the ocean.

Lots of people enjoying the sun, sand and surf.

...and added this lovely white shell to my bowl of shells!

I have glued down my first block for the Jacobs coat quilt along...

I was waiting for the stitch and wash to arrive...which did on Friday,

so have been busy cutting and gluing all weekend.

I'm sure the points will get better with practice...as practice makes perfect.

I was a little unsure about my colour choices...whether to make one circle pink and the next green. Then I decided to mix them up.

I think I'm happy with the first block.

It's so hot here...for the last few days. Too hot to do anything!

fabrics chosen...I was thinking hot pink and lime green.

Maybe alternating the colours of the circles.

It is not available here - so cannot begin stitching

until I send for some.
