rainy day

This quilt top was started quiet a while ago... it was a mystery quilt I did with our little quilt group.  

As the day is rainy I thought it a good time to pin it together...now to decide on the quilting.

Will I do big stitch quilting with pearl cotton or traditional thread?

The others who have finished theirs machine quilted...

Our region has been experiencing adverse weather conditions for a few days... strong winds and heavy rain. There has been flooding and some wind damage in the area. 

We are fine where we live though...just a good time to stay indoors with our fire.

Yesterday the sun came out for a while but the rain and wind is back today...hopefully tomorrow will be brighter.
